Watched 'REST IN PEACE' (Netflix). A devoted family man from Argentina is broke and deeply in debt and his lender is threatening.  One morning the man is on his way to repay the loan and a terrorist bomb goes off at a local synagogue. He's mildly injured and manages to escape to Paraguay where he lives in hiding for the next fifteen years. He comes back for his daughter's wedding and mayhem ensues. The film really keeps you guessing and it never makes an 'obvious' plot choice. The tone is 'uncertain' and unfolds like a rich and complex novel. {Apparently it is based on a novel, 'Descansar en Paz' by Martin Baintrub}.

Finished 'KALEIDOSCOPE' (Netflix). A classy piece of cinema and the crew boss's daughter (his 'inside man') stole the bonds. She told the bank owners (The Triplets) of what she did and gave them back the bonds, The Triplets reported them as stolen and collected the insurance. Not only did they make money but they lost nothing and their money was effectively laundered. This is a quality series, but it would have been more effective without the 'you pick the order of the episodes'.

1150am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then head to Esporta.

1235pm: To Esporta...45"Precor,  45"Treadmill,  30"Cross,  30" Recumbent Bike,  30"Precor;  watched the complete film, 'IN THE CUT' (Netflix)- Sex charged police drama about a serial killer in NYC. It was the other cop with the '3 of Spades' wrist tattoo; Meg Ryan, Mark Ruffalo, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Directed by Jane Campion' "47" Metascore. I will reread the novel after I finish 'FRANNY & ZOOEY; more of DAVE ATTELL on 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?; watched an episode of 'FILES OF THE UNEXPLAINED' (Netflix)- The haunted Myrtle Plantation.

Began 'CRIME SCENE BERLIN: Nightlife Killer' (Netflix). A serial killer is preying on the gay community. He overdoses his victims with Ecstasy and steals their valuables. Saarbrucken, Germany to Berlin is 450 miles.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
