655am (2-B). 745am (1-SB). 925am (1-SB). 1230pm (2-B). 540pm (2-B). 815pm (2-B).

Up 540am: Cloudy and rain predicted for this afternoon and evening with temps to just above 80.

Wrote up 'THE ACCIDENT' by Linwood Barclay for the blog.

Watched 'DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY' (Netflix). The film is glacially paced and for the most part, it sets a convincingly dire tone, but the ending was less than satisfying. A Mexican paparazzi photographer is cursed by a powerful Santeria spell and he begins to lose all of his senses (except sight?). In the second part of the film he tries to discover the source of his misfortune. Although the sense of dread and fear is very effective,  there is relatively little payoff. This film was well worth a look, but it could have been so much better.

Watched 'PAMELA' (Amazon Prime). A brother and sister have dinner with their mother. They have learned that although the two siblings share the same father, they do not have the same mother. The mom believes she cannot tell them because she loves them equally and the kids feel that they have a sacred right to know the truth. The daughter has the most issues and she is the biological child of mom and dad. Brother was a guy and not partisan, so he is different. The tipoff was that mom was a real hard-head and so was sis. This shows that they share a common heritage. This one was close, but no cigar.

1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hack away at the front dandelions, do the weights, and then hit Esporta.

1130am- 1145: Lawn Duty & the 'lawn whip' made a somewhat positive discernible difference.

Weights:  3 sets/ 15 reps

1245pm: To Esporta, but wound up at Planet Fitness...45"Cross,  45"Treadmill,  30"Bike,  30" Treadmill,  30"Cross;  watched almost half of 'HAPPY GILMORE' (Netflix) - Uncouth guy plays bad hockey,  but excels at golf; dumb & unfunny;  watched part of 'THAT WAS A SERIOUS PARTY (Amazon Prime)- A bland film about England's 'Secret Garden Festival'; not in the slightest bit interesting; watched all of 'BEATLES,  HIPPIES,  & HELLS ANGELS:  Inside The Crazy World of Apple; finished BILL BURR on 'Tiger Belly'.

Reading 'BLACK MAGIC'

545pm: In the tub with 'BEAUTIFUL SHADOW' [Bio of PATRICIA HIGHSMITH and listening to GRATEFUL DEAD Playlist; JAMES GANG- 'Bang'/ 'Miami'.

Began ANDREW SANTINO on 'Take Your Shoes Off' with RICK GLASSMAN

More 'RIPLEY' (Netflix). I shut it down 52 minutes into episode #6. It just keeps getting better and better. It's an amazing profile of a psychopath and I will finish reading the biography of Patricia Highsmith that I began this afternoon. 'BLACK MAGIC' can wait.
