Watched 'RIPLEY'S GAME' (Hoopla). Tom Ripley convinces a framemaker who is dying of cancer to become a hitman so that he can leave his family a mountain of cash after he passes. Elegant skullduggery; with John Malkovich, Dougray Scott, Lena Headey, and Ray Winstone.

Finished 'WILD DISTRICT' (Netflix). The ex-guerrilla reconnects with his son and lover, and the female reformer wins the presidency, but she learns that the real source of power is not in government at all. Unfortunately, she's still only a pawn in the game. I wonder if there will be a season #3. 

Watched an eight minute film by Joe List called, 'You won't become president'. Joe's wife plays his wife. Joe's character learns that an acquaintance has died and he wants to know why. He calls the guy's mom and learns that he has many unresolved feelings about his friend. 

1130am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. Looks like we are in for rain and storms this afternoon. 

12pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began 'SUPER PUMPED: The Battle For Uber (Netflix); more NIKKI GLASER on THEO VON.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
