Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'THE HOLDOVERS' (Amazon Prime). A very conservative teacher at an elite private boarding school is left in charge of several students who can't go home for the winter holidays.  Set in 1971 and not as hokey as it sounds; with Paul Giamatti, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Dominic Sessa. Directed by Alexander Payne (CITIZEN RUTH). Won 1 Oscar; 134 wins & 197 nominations. "82" Metascore.   

Watched 'CAUGHT: The Ice Chest Murder (48") (Amazon Prime). A prominent and well-connected lawyer in Delaware murders his mistress and has his brother help him drop her body out to sea. The brother with the boat is given immunity for his testimony against his brother. 

1145am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights (I skipped yesterday) and then walk Washington Park. 

1245pm- 230pm: To Washington Park...up Westview,  Kenyon,  Fairway,  across Monroe,  behind McD's,  over to Washington,  Adams,  Monroe,  Lincoln,  Wash.Pk northside,  MacArthur,  Wash.Pk southside,  up the hill,  Parkview,  Fairway,  and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES; BILLY COBHAM Playlist;  began SEBASTIAN MANISCALCO on J.R.E. 

***Spent about a half hour setting up & pairing the FitBit Inspire 3. It was on the front stoop when I left on the walk. Used YouTube and the very slim instruction material.

445pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  Began BILL BURR on 'CLUB RANDOM. 

545pm: In the tub with 'TOTAL CONTROL' and listening to DYKE & THE BLAZERS Playlist; ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND- '7 Turns'; ROLLING STONES- 'Metamorphosis'.

Began 'MARIANNE' (Netflix). The story is set in the fictional village of Elden, but filmed in the harbor town of Doelan, France.  It's a very clever series with beautiful scenes and sets. I shut it down 5 minutes into episode #2.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
