Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'RAGING GRACE' (Kanopy). A Filipino woman works cleaning houses and is in London on an expired visa. She needs some quick cash to solve her immigration problem and she also must keep her young daughter a secret from her employers. A strange movie with tons of atmosphere with a wild 'audio soundscape'. A Filipino/ English production; 6 wins & 10 nominations. "65" and I would have rated it slightly higher.  

Watched 'FIRE MUSIC' (Kanopy). Eric Dolphy was a junkie for sugar. Ice cream and sweets comprised his total diet, yet he was completely unaware of his leathal diabetic condition. John Coltrane requested that Albert Ayler play at his funeral. "John Coltrane was the Father. I am The Holy Ghost"- quote from Albert Ayler... Sun Ra got his start during the Swing Era. He was one of the first to use electronic instruments and later, synthesisers. My first taste of Prince Lasha, and I created a playlist. {I was going to watch 'SWALLOW' on Kanopy, but I'll do it tomorrow morning. I want to watch all of my picks at Kanopy before the end of the month}. 

1155am: PC is 'Off'' and the plan is to hit the treadmill.

1235pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished a year old TUESDAYS WITH STORIES; more of TERRENCE HOWARD on J.R.E.

Reading 'THE GEMINI CONTENDERS'/ Charged the FitBit for the first time. From 30% to 98% in about 30 minutes. 

455pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; started BRIAN REDBAN on J.R.E. 

555pm: In the tub with 'THE GEMINI CONTENDERS' and listening to DOOBIE BROTHERS Playlist; MOBY GRAPE- 'Crosstalk'.

More of 'SUPER PUMPED: The Battle For Uber' (Netflix). I shut it down 10 minutes into the final chapter. Why did Tarantino do the narration? Why all of the Pearl Jam on the soundtrack? I will finish the series tomorrow morning.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
