Watched 'SIMON' (Netflix). A student activist in Venezuela is captured by military police, tortured and forced to sign incriminating documents that allow him to flee to Miami. In the US he meets a young woman who helps him with his immigration problems and soon he must address his conflicted feelings about his relationship to revolution and the dictatorship. Facing down tyranny is no picnic. This Fun Fact from the final credits:

"Over 7.7 million Venezuelans have left their country. It is the largest exodus recorded in the history of the western hemisphere."

More 'ERIC' (Netflix). Now we know that the kid is alive and down in the tunnels of the NYC subway system. Still a very compelling series and the six foot puppet, Eric is believable enough so as to not detract from the power of the storyline.  Filmed in New York City and Budapest.

I had planned to return the FitBit to the UPS store on Conestoga, but since I'm going far south tomorrow to begin ordering a passport, I think I'll run both errands tomorrow.
