Up 530am: A mix of sun & clouds with temps to about 80. A heat wave is on the way with temps to low 90's and no rain for at least a week. 

Watched 'RED STATE' (Tubi). The flipside of 'Woke-ism'. A group of crazed, bible thumping and heavily armed Christians believe they must cleanse the world of gays and anyone else that differs from their extreme point of view. Nice idea, but the real plus is that there are so many great actors in this rather one dimensional (yet enjoyable) film; with Michael Parks, Melissa Leo, John Goodman, and Anna Gunn (BREAKING BAD). Directed by Kevin Smith.

Began 'YOU ARE NOT ALONE: Fighting The Wolf Pack' (Netflix). A young woman is sexually assaulted by four (5?) men at the Festival of San Fermin {Running of the Bulls} in the city of Pamplona, Navarre, Spain. This incident led to changing public opinion on sexual violence and a change in the law... FUN FACT: In Spain persons have the right to make no self-incriminating statements to not declare themselves guilty. Therefore, claimants and defendants are entitled, in fact expected, to lie in Court. In Spanish courts if a woman is drugged and raped by 40 men, it isn't rape. It's called 'sexual abuse' which is a lesser crime. To be sexual assault there must be violence and intimidation.

1120am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit the treadmill and listen to the newest TUESDAYS WITH STORIES.

Began HARLAND WILLIAMS on 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?'

Took a break from 'INGOBERNABLE' (Netflix) and reconnected with 'YOUR HONOR' (Netflix). Finished episode #2 and this is another quality series. Not quite as good as 'BREAKING BAD', but not far behind. 

****I noticed Buddy was sick in the hallway when I came upstairs after YOUR HONOR. His appetite was unaffected.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
