Tried to sign up for Kanopy, but because I deleted the account I have to wait until next month. I'll call the library and find out if there is a way to get around this silly situation. 

Watched 'POSSESSOR' (Tubi). In the not too distant future scientists are able to transfer one person's 'psyche or persona'  to another. Example: I could put my personality into a friend's body and I could actually 'be' him. A 'transfer hit woman' gets lost in the process. She's been 'sent in' to murder a man and the ownership of the corporation will change hands. She merges with the male host, but there are problems. This was a crazy ride with wild set designs, outrageous gender confusion when a female has sex as a male, and lots and lots of blood; with Andrea Riseborough, Christopher Abbott, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Directed by Brandon Cronenberg. 15 wins & 40 nominations. "72" Metascore and I rate it a few points higher.

Finished 'SAFE' (Netflix). All the questions are answered in the last episode and that's too much like Agatha Christie for me. Many of the adults were involved in the elementary school fire where many kids died. The lady cop drowned Chris in the pool at the house party. Too much happened that never could have happened. How could you imagine a teenage house party with lots of drugs and drink and nobody in the pool area? 

More 'HITLER'S CIRCLE OF EVIL' (Netflix). I had no idea that Rudolf Hess took a Nazi plane and flew to Scotland to try to get a peace treaty with Britain. He tries to committ suicide by jumping off a balcony, but only succeeds in breaking his leg. The Brits put him in prison and didn't listen to anything he had to say. Weird...The Deputy Fuhrer does secret negotiations with the British?

I called Brewer and extended the prescriptions at Wedgewood. I made an appointment for Buddy's bloodwork on We 8/7 at 1050am.   

I called Emily at the library but got no answer.

1220pm: PC is 'Off' and will walk on the treadmill. 

1pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; new TUESDAYS WITH STORIES; more of SEBASTIAN JUNGER on J.R.E.

***Five minutes of anxiety {ten minutes total} with 'Windows Update'. It just spun and I had to manually hit the 'Off' button and it finally went through the cycle. And, as usual, no discernible difference. When I went back on line, it said I had to do it again...

This took another few minutes and I wonder if Apple users have to suffer through the same idiocy?

Began 'THE BROTHERS SUN' (Netflix).  I shut it down 12 minutes into episode #2. Bright & upbeat with a clever premise, a classy soundtrack and plenty of chop-socky. Shot in Taipei City, Taiwan and Los Angeles, California.
