***New signage across the street:  "Happy Birthday Vivian"- she's 9.

9am: No roofers showed up next door this morning. Maybe they're done, but there is a compressor hose still on the roof. 

I wanted to watch 'ESCAPE FROM MOGADISHU' on Kanopy, but I couldn't access my account so  I streamed it on Tubi. I will visit the library this afternoon. {The head tech was out to lunch and no help}

Watched 'ESCAPE FROM MOGADISHU' (Tubi). It's an Asian blockbuster set during the Somali civil war of late 1990 when both the embassies of North and South Korea were under attack. North and South Korean staff had to work together to get out of a country that was in the throes of a bloody revolution. It's a compelling drama with some well choreographed car chases and apparently the film is historically accurate.

More of 'HITLER'S CIRCLE OF EVIL' (Netflix). I shut it down 12 minutes into episode #6. 'The Berghof'- Hitler's 'Camp David' in the mountains engineered by Martin Bormann. 

1145am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then walk to the library and reregister with Kanopy.

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.

440pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  began a  YOU BE TRIPPIN'- Russia by a Scottish comic.

540pm: In the tub with 'HARD TO HANDLE' and listening to KING'S X' Playlist; SEA LEVEL- 1st album; JOHN COLTRANE- 'Blue Train'; BLACK SABBATH Playlist. 

Began RICK BEATO's conversation with the lead singer, BILLY CORGAN of SMASHING PUMPKINS.

More 'SAFE' (Netflix). I shut it down 35 minutes into episode #7. I should be able to finish the series tomorrow morning.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
