Watched 'SECTOR 36' (Netflix).  A young man in India is kidnapping local kids from the slums and then, raping, killing and then eating them... he also sells their organs. He confesses to 22 to 24 murders, yet the authorities let him slide because that's 'The System'. Definitely an Indian film, so it's a little clunky and promotes the usual theme that 'corruption is endemic', but are the police really that rough on suspects?

Watched 'BOTTOMS' (Amazon Prime). The film reworks The 'High School Comedy' genre and wraps it into a campy, queer and provocative funny film. The premise is that two gay loser girls start a 'Fight Club' for girls so that they can have sex with cheerleaders. Freewheeling, Over The Top, Teen Sex Comedy". 5 wins & 24 nominations. "74" Metascore and might be a bit too high by half a dozen points or so.

110pm- 210pm: Mowed, weeded, trimmed, swept.

Shower/ Finished 'THE UNDERGROUND MAN' by ROSS MACDONALD & began 'THE DROP' by MICHAEL CONNELLY 

***430pm: THREE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched a YouTube True Crime- A married woman from Dyersburg, Tennessee is missing for six weeks. Her body is found and it looks like it was the husband, but prosecutors couldn't get the jury to agree- too circumstantial. 

545pm: In the tub with 'THE DROP' and listening to DAVE HOLLAND Playlist; EDDIE HAZEL Playlist; GOV'T MULE- 'Revolution...'.

Began BOBBY LEE on 'Theo Von'.

More 'BETWEEN LANDS' (Netflix).  I shut it down 46 minutes into episode #8. Great vintage clothes, sweaters, leather jackets, and vintage motorcycles, too. It's definitely got a 'Summer of Love vibe', but in rural Spain.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
