Watched 'THE NEXT SKIN' (Netflix).  A young boy from Catalonia was missing for eight years and now he is back in his home village. Is he the missing child or is he an impersonator with an ulterior motive? It's not answered definitively, but it seems that the boy pushed his father off the side of a mountain, and that's the reason he took off. But how could a nine year old boy kill his father and then disappear into the mountains without a plan or help of any kind? The film is set at a beautiful location in a village (and a trailer park) on the edge of the Spanish Pyrenees. Another film that's more 'atmosphere & tone' than 'plot & storyline'. 

Watched 'UNKNOWN: Killer Robots' (Netflix). AI's innovations will first be used to assist the military. 'Swarms'- an infinite group of machines with one purpose with no leader or human operator. AI can perform and practice millions of 'moves' and apply what it has learned. They can program a machine to have 30 years of experience at a single task in just 10 months; automated trucks/cars; pilot a jet plane; etc. 

1135am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit the sidewalks.

***At 815pm I noticed a prompt to 'restart'. It only took a couple of minutes, and no discernible difference.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
