Up 6am: Fog & drizzle early and then cloudy with temps to upper 60's. 

Watched 'LADY J' (Netflix). It's about a 'psycho/sexual relationship' between two members of the French nobility during the mid 18th century. A wealthy libertine Marquis courts a rich and aloof noblewoman. When she yields, he's content for a while, but soon he rejects her and claims that neither one of them are in love. However, the lady schemes to get even and she achieves her revenge by using a couple of prostitutes to pretend to be a rich and pious 'mother and daughter'. He's tricked into marrying the daughter, but when he learns of the scam, he forgives his antagonist in the end. A satisfying costume drama that was dialogue driven and had a similar vibe to 'DANGEROUS  LIAISONS'. 

950am: The PC is 'Off' and I am preparing to visit the county building to resubmit for a passport and then back home for rice and later a trip to Esporta.

1020am & home by 1110am: Parked a couple of blocks south of the county building on 9th. The office was on the 4th floor and I'm paid up and it should take less than a month to receive the passport and the relevant documents.  

More 'BORGEN: Power & Glory' (Netflix). I finished episode #4. 

1230pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing to do the weights and then an afternoon at Esporta. Legs and ankles feel a bit wonky and I might cut back on the workout time if it feels necessary.

115pm: To Esporta...45"Precor,  30"Treadmill,  30"Cross,  30"Recumbent Bike,  30"Precor; watched 'HIS THREE DAUGHTERS' (Netflix)- Dad is at 'home hospice' and he is dying and his three neurotic grown daughters are there to help. Not as corny as it sounds, but close; with Carrie Coon, Elizabeth Olsen, and Natasha Lyonne. "84" Metascore. Began rock documentary 'NOW MORE THAN EVER:  History of Chicago' (Amazon Prime).

Reading/ snacking 

540pm: In the tub with 'COLD DAY IN HELL' and listening to 'COLD DAY IN HELL' and listening to BAND- 'Music From Big Pin'; JOE COCKER- 'Sheffield Steel'/ 'Mad Dogs & Englishmen'.

Finished DONNELL RAWLINGS on 'Good For You'.

More 'BORGEN: Power & Glory' (Netflix). I shut it down 4 minutes into episode #6. The 'Necktie Bet' was for 500 Swedish Krona which is about $50 USD.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
