Up 730am: {I guess it's the cold. I started the day with 2 'cold & flu' tablets, but those were the only pills of the day} Bright & sunny with temps to mid 60's.

Weekly Cleaning

As I started the film I noticed a prompt to 'restart'. Christ, I hate these updates (even though it only took a few moments).

Watched 'RUMBLE FISH' (Amazon Prime). Very much an Art Film by Francis Ford Coppola, and maybe strains a bit, but his vision is undeniable. It is basically the story of two brothers. The younger brother idolizes his older sibling, but 'The Motorcycle Boy' has outgrown this role. The cinematography employs lots of Smoke, Mist, and Steam and the film is entirely shot in black & white, and the only color is of the 'rumble fish'. These red and blue fish are warriors, Siamese Fighting Fish and they will even try to fight their own reflections. There are so many bright young stars that went on to stellar careers that you wonder what happened to the rest of the cast; with Matt Dillon, Mickey Rourke, Diane Lane, Dennis Hopper, Nicolas Cage, Chris Penn, Lawurence Fishburne, and Tom Waits.    

More of 'FIFA UNCOVERED' (Netflix). I shut it down 9 minutes into episode #2. I pay you to do something for me and this is the basis of Capitalism, but also Corruption. The plan is to continue on the treadmill. 

1pm: PC is 'Off' and will do a walk on the treadmill.

125pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; More 'FIFA UNCOVERED' (Netflix).

540pm: In the tub with 'US AGAINST YOU' and listening to JOHN MAYALL- 'Blues From Laurel Canyon'; HUMBLE PIE- 'Up Our Sleeves'; ORNETTE COLEMAN- 'Skies Of America'.

Began LOUIS CK on TIM DILLON.

Began 'CLASS ACT' (Netflix). I shut it down 9 minutes into episode #2. This is the fictionalized account of French businessman Bernard Tapie.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
