Watched 'HURLY BURLY' (Amazon Prime). I tried to watch this film at Plex, but that streaming service doesn't offer  'fast forward/ reverse' or 'subtitles'. Forget About It. The film concerns an entitled group of LA 'drug buddies' who happily trade, women, booze, and philosophical insights until one of them commits suicide. A beautifully written film with thought provoking dialogue and it reminded me of vintage David Mamet..."The guy who dies in an accident understands the nature of destiny".

840am: PC is 'Off' and will get in the Five Miles before I have to leave for the new phone. 

10am: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; RICK GLASSMAN on 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'.

1255pm: To Xfinity. The $450 model was out, so I took the $200 model because it had a headphone jack. This is still an upgrade from my current phone. The monthly bill goes up $12 a month to pay for the phone. I got a $40 case for $5- it was on sale. I also got a five dollar reduction in my internet service & it will be a faster speed and I will get all of the features on Peacock-TV. I made an appointment to bring in the new phone (I had to have it sent to my home) on We 12/11 at 115pm for activation. 

Stopped at Schnucks for Hamms & soda

445pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  'ARE YOU GARBAGE?''.

***Paid auto insurance by phone***

540pm: In the tub with 'THE PARSIFAL MOSAIC' and listening to JOHN LURIE Playlist; COMMODORES- 'Machine Gun'; YOUNG RASCALS- 1st; ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND- '7 Turns'.

Watched a 20 minute YouTube bio of LOU REED- 'Lou Redd's Wild Side'.

More 'BLACK DOVES' (Netflix).  I shut it down 29 minutes into episode #4. Interesting characters and witty dialogue. This series is a cut above.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
