Watched 'LANG TONG' (Netflix- leaving soon). A young man thinks he's a real ladies man until he hooks up with a couple of women who are posing as sisters. He later learns that they are a couple of 'Black Widows' and he becomes their prey. Here's The Most Important Element Of The Plot: Years ago dad annally raped one of the woman with a pickle (you can't make this up!) and mom committed suicide out of shame. The raped girl makes it her mission in life to 'get even' with men. Lots of gratuitous sex yet a memorable castration scene with hedge clippers is not to be missed. The film expounds on some very adventurous ideas, but only rises to the level of a very good student film. Filmed in Tiong Bahru which is the oldest and trendiest area of Singapore (an island country & city state).

I finished the last two episodes of 'THE MIRE' (Netflix). The film's 'present' was the winter of 1999 and concerned a double murder that occurred in the sixties. I wish I knew more than 47% of the storyline, but it was very complex.

I was going to walk to Heartland for the Xmas cash, but I decided to hit Esporta and then go to the credit union.

It requires a complete suspension of belief and it morphs into testosterone overkill; began QUENTIN TARANTINO & another guy on J.R.E. 

To Heartland for Xmas cash: $150.

545pm: [looking for a book]. In the tub to finish 'TRUTH OR DIE' and began 'THE DIFFERENCE ENGINE' by WILLIAM GIBSON & BRUCE STERLING and listening to HAWKWIND; NAUSEEF & BRUCE- 'Snake Music'; JOHN MAYALL'S BLUES BREAKERS Playlist.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
