***Early yesterday evening the Xmas packages for the kids arrived (all 5 gifts in one big box) along with my order from VIIA for 3 jars of 'DAY DRIFT'- 100 mg. I also learned by text that I will have to sign for the new phone. I hung a note on the front doorbell saying that you must knock as the package is supposed to arrive sometime today. I asked the guy at Xfinity to have the phone sent to the store, but he said that couldn't be done. Why not?

***945am: GALAXY A25 5G: Phone arrived and I spotted the truck before she spotted the house... (940 in the 2000 block?)

Watched 'ZERO DARK THIRTY' (Netflix). Much of the film shows detainees being tortured to uncover the highly secret whereabouts of Osama bin Laden, but the final take down of his secret fortress in Afghanistan makes the illegal interrogations worth the loss of the moral high ground. Unfortunately, in the 'real' search for Bin Laden information obtained from torture proved false and a waste of time; with Jessica Chastain, Joel Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Mark Strong, Jeremy Strong, Kyle Chandler (BLOODLINE), James Gandolfini, Mark Duplass. Won 1 Oscar; 95 wins & 174 nominations. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow (THE HURT LOCKER, STRANGE DAYS). {It's  2 1/2 hrs long, and I've seen it before, yet still very much worth a second look}. 

More of 'ASAF' (Netflix). I finished episode #4 and two chapters remain. I still don't know (or if it was revealed) why the kid ('the package') was kidnapped? What did the crooked cop who was driving the SUV expect to gain?

Forgot the Chat and then wrote a short note; my new phone, Xmas gifts for the kids. 

12pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk on the treadmill and then clean the windows. 

1220pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished the Amazon Prime miniseries about the LISA FRANK company. The theme of the documentary seems to be that you should never have a business partnership with your wife or two hard heads should never collaborate on anything. Both Lisa &Frank were both so unappealing that it's difficult to determine who was really at fault and certainly neither was blameless.

2pm- 245pm: Cleaning windows and it made a discernible difference.

More 'ASAF' (Netflix). I finished episode #5 and will do the remaining episode tomorrow morning. Will start a new foreign series tonight.

Began 'A PERFECT DAY FOR ARSENIDE' (Netflix). The series is set in Hong Kong and has a young & quirky cast. Very Non-Western and the first episode went completely over my head. I shut it down 5 minutes into episode #2. The series is ten episodes of about 25 minutes a piece.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
