Watched 'THE BRASS TEAPOT' (Hoopla). A silly contemporary fable about a magic teapot that spits out cash when it senses human pain and suffering; with Juno Temple and Michael Angarano. "43" Metascore and although I'm surprised it was rated at all, yet I'd give it a "63". Filmed in Ulster County which is upstate New York near Woodstock, New York.

Began 'THE WHITE RIBBON' (Amazon Prime- leaves in 4 days). I shut it down with just about an hour left and I'll finish the film tonight. Set in Brandenburg Germany.

Tired and running late, but it's in the mid 50's, so I've got to hit those 'warm' sidewalks.

Finished the 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?' Xmas Edition.

Finished 'THE WHITE RIBBON' (Amazon Prime). The tone of the film is stern and grim and watching a YouTube video helped me understand what the director was trying to achieve. It's a kind of horror film where the children are the monsters.  It can be assumed that they were behind the violence, but it was their reaction to the harsh and regimented Christian life that was forced upon them by the adults.  When WWI broke out the entire series of events were swept away because of a much greater horror that was to come. Directed by Michael Haneke. Nominated for 2 Oscars; 62 wins & 48 nominations. "84" Metascore and I would rate it slightly lower because it was rather difficult to understand- "82".

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
