Weekly Cleaning  

Watched 'NO PRESSURE' (Netflix).  A woman works as a chef in a trendy restaurant in Warsaw and is tricked into going to her grandmother's farm in the country. By the end of the film she has relocated to the village, found the man of her dreams, becomes the chef at the inn, and becomes 'one of them'. The film has a very 'Polish' way of depicting their 'deplorables', however none of the insights rose above the level of an average sitcom, but rural Poland was a feast for the eyes. Filmed in very rural northeastern Poland near the border with Belarus.

More 'THE MIRE' (Netflix). I shut it down 26 minutes into episode #3. I reviewed the previous two episodes in season #3 and now I understand about 47% of what's going on. Another beautiful Polish production with great sets and painstaking attention to detail. 

12pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for another walk on the treadmill.

While writing a late chat I got an email that the Xmas celebration will be at Red Oak on the day after Xmas (Thursday) at 630pm. Don't kids have to go to bed? What are they doing on Xmas day?

Began 'THE CHURCH OF WHAT'S HAPPENING'- The New Testament. He talked about the great California weed stores in the 90's.

More 'THE MIRE' (Netflix). I finished episode #4 and two episodes remain and they are just under sixty minutes a piece.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
