Watch 'THE CHILDREN'S TRAIN' (Netflix). A concert violinist reflects on his life after receiving news that his birth mother has passed.  When he was eight years old he was sent to northern Italy as part of a relief project to rescue children from poverty. Just months after the end of  WWII groups of disadvantaged children from the slums of Naples were relocated to wealthier households in rural Northern Italy. The kids on the train were from Naples which is on the southwestern coast of Italy and they went to Modena, Italy which is approximately 400 miles north near Bologna, Italy.  A novel story idea and well executed.

Watched 'THIS IS NOT A MOVIE' (Amazon Prime). It's the highlight of Robert Fisk's career as a journalist in the Middle East for over forty years. He doesn't believe that there should be even one western soldier in the Middle East... "Their lives are governed by god and the west has abandoned god"- I think that's a stupid way to look at things. However, I applaud the fact that he exposes the truth about international atrocities, publishes the facts and then lets the chips fall where they may regardless of the wishes of those in power. Fiske died shortly after the release of the film.

1145am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill.  

***The phone would not pair to the treadmill after numerous attempts.  I'll call the store....later, I'm sick of this.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
