Watched 'TALK TO ME' (Kanopy). A better than average 'Teen Scream' genre film from Australia.  A manikin's hand that connects to 'the world of demons' is the goofy premise, but it kind of works. Remember: "If you don't blow out the candle at the end of the session, the evil spirit will live within you forever". 20 wins & 44 nominations. "76" Metascore and that's about where I 'd put it.

Watched 'I LIKE MOVIES' (Kanopy). Another 'Teen' genre film and this one concerns a high school Canadian senior who gets a job at a video store and hopes to study at the NYU- Tisch School of The Arts. 4 wins & 12 nominations. "76" Metascore and that's about where I'd put it.  Filmed in Burlington, Canada- a southern suburb of Toronto, Canada.

540pm: In the tub with 'THE AQUITAINE PROGRESSION' and listening to SUN RA- 'Living Sky'; GRATEFUL DEAD- 'Europe 1972'; TALKING HEADS- 'Fear of Music' Deluxe/ 'Remain In Light' Deluxe; ROUGH GUIDE West African Music.

More '1992' (Netflix). I shut it down 36 minutes into episode #3. The 'Blowtorch Murders' have some kind of connection to the "Seville Expo '92". This was Spain's way to commemorate Christopher Columbus's discovery of the New World. The series weaves actual events with the fictional murder storyline. 'Curro' was the mascot of the Expo.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
