I started the day with a request for a 'review' of 100 mg 'DAY DRIFT' at VIIA:

"VIIA should talk more about the 'high' and less about 'the taste'. THCA is not 'food or candy'. It is a recreational drug and consumers want to know more about the effect. Judging a gummy by how well it tastes would be like basing a new car purchase on how well the windshield wipers work." 

Watched 'AMERICAN ASSASSIN' (Netflix). A slightly better than average Political/Action Thriller based on The Mitch Rapp Series written by Vince Flynn. A young man and his girlfriend are at a beach resort when terrorists open fire on them and random vacationers. His girlfriend is shot and killed and he vows to take his revenge on the entire 'Terrorist World'. The movie is about his recruitment into the American intelligence community and although he's a gifted warrior, he dances to the beat of a different drummer;  with Dylan O'Brien and Michael Keaton. It only received a "45" Metascore and I would have given it "76".

Watched 'SCAPEGOAT' (Amazon Prime). A man meets someone who is his exact double. After meeting for drinks one of the men wakes the next morning without his wallet and clothes and he assumes the identity of his double. It's a 'fish out of water' tale as he tries to find 'his' life among family in his double's life. I thought it was clever and witty, if a bit hard to accept. His mother and wife didn't smell a rat? 

1240pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk on the treadmill and listen to the laters 'TUESDAYS'

Reading one of the 2 new Robert Ludlum books that arrived today.

545pm:  In the tub with 'THE AQUITAINE PROGRESSION by ROBERT LUDLUM and listening to EMERSON LAKE & PALMER Playlist; CHARLIE MUSSELWHITE Playlist; GRATEFUL DEAD- 'L'Olympia Paris: 1972'.

More 'BEYOND EVIL' (Netflix). I finished episode #2 and I might bid this series farewell. I just noticed that this season has sixteen episodes, each over an hour and I'm not feeling the series. Maybe you've got to be Korean.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
