Up 520am: Mostly sunny and frigid with temps barely into the 20's.

Watched 'WHAT YOU WISH FOR' (Hoopla). Thirteen years have passed since two chefs were roommates in culinary school and they reignite their friendship at a secluded Chilean villa. One of the chefs has become incredibly wealthy by cooking exclusive dinners for wealthy clients all over the world. The secret is that his wealthy clients dine on human flesh.  A Moral Justification: It costs just over a million dollars to get a seat at one of these gruesome dinner parties and the families (of the victims) and their communities are well compensated. The company will never authorize the murder of more than 75 people a year worldwide..."What other company can generate that kind of revenue  with the loss of so few lives? Roofers, cops, firemen, and truck drivers have occupations that are far more deadly and do not reap the monetary rewards. A very cool film that keeps you on the edge of your seat and morphs into a really grizzly piece of work; with Nick Stahl. 6 wins & 2 nominations;  "66" Metascore and I would give it at least "83". Filmed in Columbia.  

More 'GANGS OF LONDON' (Netflix). I shut it down 24 minutes into episode #6. The show gets even more impressive!

1120am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to get in 5 miles before going to the eye checkup on South 6th. 

1140am: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; 

130pm: To Springfield Clinic on S. 5th West Campus. A test downstairs. They no longer do the 'puff test'. Then to 3rd floor for drops & the eye exam by the doctor.  Next year go directly upstairs on 3. Done by 230pm. 

I was going to pick up a few things at the County Market,  but it was too bright, so I came home.

Reading 'AFTER HOURS'. I could read easily with my reading glasses, but it took far longer than 2 hours to get back to normal. 

545pm: In the tub with 'AFTER HOURS' and listening to BECK Playlist; TALKING HEADS Live; MELVINS Playlist.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
