***At 10am I noticed a huge orange lugger being delivered to the old lady's driveway next door. I think it's official. I watched the death of my neighbor last Saturday morning. I'll never forget it and my only regret is that I didn't think to use the binoculars. 

Up 6am: Bright & sunny with temps to mid 20'. Temps will soar to the mid 50's early next week.

Watched 'REST IN PEACE' (Netflix). I liked this movie, but within seconds I realized that I had seen it a couple of times. So...

Watched 'DON'T LET GO (Netflix). It's a Time Travel Tale...An LA detective must solve the murder of his brother's family. He is close to his niece and and due to a 'fracture in time lines' (?) she is able to communicate with him on her phone even though he is two weeks into the future. Sounds idiotic, but most of the 'Time Travel' genre is indefensible; with David Oyelowo, Storm Reid, Mykelti Wiliamson, Alfred Molina. "49" Metascore and I would give it a solid "70".

From 'Washington Post':

"... a nicely weird “Twilight Zone” vibe, but fails to sustain it, as it also runs into some of the same problems that plague movies of this ilk: If you tear the fabric of time by altering what has already happened, it can be difficult to sew it back up straight.". 

More 'ADORATION' (Netflix). I shut it down at the end of episode #5 and I'll finish the series tonight- 50" remain. Then I'll begin 'THE HOOLIGAN' (Netflix).

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
