Watched 'THE SNOW SISTER' (Netflix). A Swedish Xmas film about a grief stricken boy that was just too sweet. I decided that yesterday's Indian film would be time better spent. 

Finished 'THANGALAAN' (Netflix). As the end credits roll they show photos of the real Kolar Gold Fields at Mysore. The film is set in 1850 although the indigenous people looked, acted, and lived like cavemen.  

Began 'INFORMA: Beasts of the Underworld' (Netflix). A Japanese rookie journalist hooks up with a slick criminal and they combat crime. I'll continue this tonight.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
