Up 610am: Frigid, breezy & partly cloudy with temps only to upper teens.

Ten minutes to 're-shovel/sweep' the drive and walk. We probably didn't get more than 2 inches of snow yesterday.

Watched 'BALLOT' (Netflix).  It's about a contemporary mayoral election in a rural province of the Philippines. Armed thugs seem to run the town and a female election official (one of the teachers in the town) is hunted down with the yellow ballot box still handcuffed to her wrist. The movie doesn't resolve anything, and it seemed odd that there were so many gays in the movie. Is this really typical of rural Southeast Asia? Set in Don Salvador Benedicto which is a province of the Philippines. Gritty & strange.

More 'THE ARE MURDERS' (Netflix). I finished episode #3 and two remain. It seems that they've solved the murder of the high school girl leaving the drinking party, but will there be a new and unrelated crime to solve? More tonight....

1140am: The PC is 'Off' and it's another day on the treadmill. I'll hit Planet Fitness tomorrow because there's a pretty good chance of precipitation on the weekend.

12pm: FIVE MILES TO 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; skimmed a 20" YouTube video about THC Drinks:  'Cross- Fade: Alcohol plus THC beverages will be the next big thing; WE MIGHT BE DRUNK;  more WESLEY HUFF on J.R.E.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
