Watched 'CARRY-ON' (Netflix). The film is an effective 'cliff hanger'/ 'pot boiler' about a TSA officer and what happened one Xmas Eve at LAX. The Overall Premise: A major American weapons subcontractor wants to kill off a US senator because she is against expanding work in the bioweapons sphere. The company will release a Russian made bio weapon and the American people will think that the Russians did it. Then the public will be scared enough to pour more tax dollars into a dangerous project; with Taron Egerton, Jason Bateman, Logan Marshall-Green, Dean Norris. "69" Metascore and I would go to "75" for pure entertainment value.   

Began 'AMERICAN MANHUNT: O. J. Simpson' (Netflix). Watched the first episode of the four part series. I thought I already knew what there was to know about this infamous case, but I was wrong. The prosecution was so sloppy that 'The Dream Team' was able to derail the entire case. You could say that Simpson was found not guilty because Mark Fuhrman was a racist. I'll continue on the machines at Esporta.

12pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the Weights and then workout at Esporta.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
