Up 615am: Cloudy & breezy with temps to upper 30's. The snowstorm seems to be definitely 'on' for tomorrow.  We could see a half a foot of flurries...or not. 

Watched 'DINNER IN AMERICA' (Kanopy). A true punk rock movie. It's a coarse, crude, vulgar and hilarious broadside that lampoons the tedious decorum of contemporary American suburbia; with Kyle Gallner, Emily Skeggs.  14 wins & 6 nominations. "80" Metascore and I would go to "89" and I really liked this one.

More 'FORMA' (Netflix). I shut it down 27 minutes into episode #6. The series is well shot, but the comedic tone doesn't work for me.  This would be much better as a straight Police Procedural. I'll complete the series, but I don't think I'll be around for season #2...if there is one. 

1150am: PC is 'Off' and will do the weights and then head to Esporta for a workout.

I watched the first episode of Season #2 of 'MO' (Netflix), and then back to 'INFORMA' (Netflix). I shut it down 4 minutes into episode #8. This is the final chapter and I'll finish tomorrow morning. It's a stylish series, but I'm not buying the storyline. It's very Japanese, and maybe that's the reason why.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
