Up 705am: {Well Rested}.  Cloudy & frigid with temps only to mid teens and a 'cold weather advisory' is in effect. 

Watched 'THE SPANISH PRISONER' (Amazon Prime). A classic film about an elaborate financial scam that celebrates the art of a nuanced and complex swindle. An executive/inventor is targeted and tricked into revealing his 'lucrative secret process'; Steve Martin, Ben Gazzara, Campbell Scott, Ricky Jay, Rebecca Pidgeon (wife of the director), Felicity Huffman. Directed by David Mamet. "71" Metascore and I would go to at least "90". I loved it and it was one of Warren Zevon's favorites. 

More 'APPLE CIDER VINEGAR' (Netflix). I shut it down 20 minutes into episode #4. Under the flash and glitter is a solid story. "If things are not working out, change the story. It's not a question of whether something is right or wrong, but what most people believe to be true". 

1230pm: The PC is 'Off' and it's another day on the treadmill. {Will I get cabin fever or am I immune?}.

1255pm: FIVE MILES  TO 4.0 PACE AT ZERO SLANT;  watched 2 forgettable True Crimes on Netflix. 

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps; Ten minutes to shovel and inch of flurries from the drive and walkway.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
