730amm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 930am (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 540pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Panama Punch).

Up 545am: A mix of sun & cloud with temps to mid 40's.

*** Spent 30 minutes of soul destroying fuckaround trying to put 'Cheese' on flash drives. I think I did it but not fucking sure.  When I open the downstairs PC tonight I'll plug in the drives and see if it copied. Fuck I Hate This.

Watched 'LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL' (Kanopy). In a desperate bid for higher ratings a Late Night TV host takes the show in a radically different direction on their Halloween broadcast.  Mayhem ensues when a guest conjures a demon on national TV.  It's a kitschy, 'B'- Movie Horror Film that's clever and incisive. It really captured the feel of the 70's Talk Show vibe {Regardless of what occurs on the show, the commercials are most important} and made great use of tawdry special effects. 8 wins & 32 nominations. "72" Metascore and I would go to "82".

From 'The Guardian'..."The directors...have fun with a fresh premise that reminds us that light entertainment is the anteroom of hell."

Watched 'AFTER HOURS' (Amazon Prime- leaving in nine days). I had seen this one before, and it was well worth a second (or third!) look. It's a valentine to the SOHO district of Manhattan during the late 70's in a story about a man who meets a girl in a late night diner and it turns into the night of his life. Theme (?)-  The Big Apple has lost its shine and the denizens are just flaky artist wannabes and corporate wage slaves; with Griffin Dunne, Rosanna Arquette, Linda Fiorentino, Teri Garr, John Heard, Cheech & Chong, Catherine O'Hara, Will Patton. Directed by Martin Scorsese. Nominated for 1 BAFTA Award; 3 wins & 10 nominations. "89" Metascore and that's about where I'd put it. It was a true 'fever dream' of a film. Not like any of Scorsese's other films except that it shares his deep love of Manhattan Island.

1145am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Esporta. I'll hit the vitamin shop after the workout, but I'm not sure if I'll do the urine sample.  I am agonizing over the whole process. Should I put it off for as long as possible or should I try to get to the end as soon as possible? The Sword of Damacles and all like that.

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.

1220pm Esporta...45"Precor, 45"Treadmill, 30"Cross, 30"Recumbent Bike, 30"Precor; watched 'THE WATCHERS' (Netflix)- A few random people are trapped in a bunker in an Irish forest.  Demons come out at night, but they're just pissed off fairies.  Stoooopid; more of TIM DILLON on JIM NORTON.; watched an episode of 'I AM A KILLER (Netflix)- Montana man kills wife, but he maintains that it was 'unintentional'.

Supplement Superstore & Walmart for a gumball rake & more leaf bags; $71 vitamins; $16 bags & rake.

545pm: In the tub with 'THE LATHE OF HEAVEN' and listening to FLEETWOOD MAC- 'Kiln House'/ 'Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac'; GRATEFUL DEAD- 'American Beauty'/ 'Workingman's Dead'.

More of TIM DILLON on JIM NORTON.

More 'WE ARE BETTER' (Netflix). I shut it down 43 minutes into episode #14.
