Up 550am: Cloudy then rain with temps to mid 50's. A 'Flood Watch' is in effect until Sunday morning. 

Yesterday I noticed that the gutter off of the garage was not draining properly at the ground level. This morning at 7am I got out the ladder and checked to see if debris was blocking the gutter at the roof. Nothing was there. Maybe it will 'heal itself' during today's rain. {It did not} 

Watched 'SICARIO: Day Of The Soldado' (Netflix). "Twenty years ago the business of the cartels was drugs. Today it is smuggling people". Premise: Cartels smuggle terrorists into the US, therefore they are a terrorist organization and all state, federal, and government intelligence agencies have the authority to enter the fray. The film was engaging, yet almost too 'tough guy' to be believed; with Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Catherine Keener, Matthew Modine. "61" Metascore and I would go to "74". 

Finished 'CAUGHT' (Netflix). The guy who was set up for luring underage kids on the internet is resurrected. He was shot and fell off a cliff into the river and believed killed. Apparently, he swam to shore and was rescued by the kids at his survival school (?). The story kept 'looping back' to fill in the details and this was inelegant at best. And, I don't even remember a confrontation about the woman who ran down a cyclist. I imagine that the novel was just as convoluted. 

1140am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a visit to Esporta. I'll be at Planet Fitness over the weekend.

Finished 'STAVVY'S WORLD' with his two odd friends.

Began 'WOMAN OF THE DEAD' (Netflix). The series is set and filmed in the Tyrolean Alps in Austria; Otztal Valley; Kuhtai; Venet Mountain. I shut it down 18 minutes into episode #2. This one is very difficult to follow and I remember less than zero about the first season. However, the script allows for dialogue frothy with sass and weird Tyrolean style.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
