Watched 'THE ROOM NEXT DOOR' (Netflix). A renowned female war photographer is dying of pancreatic cancer and enlists her successful writer friend to help her end her life. They rent a cabin in upper New York state where the deed is done. It was to be a kind of an idyllic 'calm before the storm'. Cops try to nab the woman for 'assissted suicide' and that direction might have made for an even better film; with Julianne Moore, Tilda Swinton, John Turturro. Directed by Pedro Almodovar; 15 wins & 36 nominations. "70" Metascore and I would go to "80". Something about the film seemed slightly askew and this review might have found the reason.

From Indie Wire: "Elegant and confounding in equivalent measure, Pedro Almodóvar’s first English-language feature could’ve used a finishing touch from an American script supervisor." 

More 'IC814': The Kandahar hijack' (Netflix). The flight began in Kathmandu, Nepal and headed to Delhi, India. The hijackers rerouted the plane to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. I finished episode #2 and I will continue the series tonight. A lot of it is unclear since I'm not familiar with the various government agencies that were involved in the incident.

More ''IC814: The Kandahar Hijack' (Netflix). I shut it down 41 minutes into episode #4. It's more confusing than terrifying. I still don't know what the hijackers want. Hijacking used to be a 'thing', but I haven't heard of them in recent memory. Mass shootings are now all the rage.
