***935am- 945am: A fire truck {Engine #7; 3 guys} pulled up and drained the fireplug out front.  There was a CWLP guy with them and he carried a yellow nozzle that he attached to the fireplug. 

Watched 'ALLIED' (Kanopy). A classy WWII Spy Tale with an unusual twist. A Canadian officer is undercover in Casablanca and meets a woman who will pose as his wife. Later, they fall in love, marry and have a daughter. But, could this talented woman really be a German spy? Thoughtfully paced and artfully told; with Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard, Jared Harris. Nominated for 1 Oscar; 1 win & 10 nominations. "60" Metascore and I would go to "77". 

Finished 'FAMILIES LIKE OURS' (Netflix). A fascinating series and I hated to see it end. I wish that I could continue to follow what happened to all of the characters as they learn to adapt to the radical changes in European government and society.

More 'MONIQUE OLIVIER: Accessory To Evil' (Netflix). I shut it down 16 minutes into episode #4. An hour remains in the series and I could finish it tomorrow morning. A husband and wife team who use a baby to convince prepubescent girls to come with them. The girls are soon raped and murdered. The wife claims that she was forced into helping, but psychologists seem to feel that she was an active participant. I can't remember hearing about a husband and wife 'rape & kill' team here in America.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.
