Up 635am: {On the mend}. Rain & thunderstorms through most of the day with temps to upper 70's. 

***Last night I slept better, however I needed to use two pillows to keep my head elevated to prevent phlegm from running down my throat. The guy next door was mowing his lawn at 645am this morning. I guess he felt that it was an aesthetic emergency. 

I decided to end 'Tolerance Break' and it brought on a fit of coughing, but I feel a whole lot better high & sick. 

Watched 'GOMORRAH' (Amazon Prime). A slice of life drama about life under the Camorra criminal organization. From AI Overview: "The Camorra is a Mafia-type criminal organization and society originating in the Campania region of Italy, specifically around Naples. It's one of the oldest and largest criminal organizations in Italy, with roots tracing back to the 18th century. The Camorra is structured into independent clans that often compete or form alliances with each other, and they are involved in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking, racketeering, and counterfeiting." The film is shot in the Campania province of Italy and features one of the worst housing projects on the planet. It's futuristic design that looks like it was left to go to seed for over a century. Unforgettable, and life is very cheap on the mean streets of this place. 

***A tornado warning went up and it looks like bad storms between 11am and 1pm.   

Watched 'EHRENGARD: The Art Of Seduction' (Netflix).  The film is based on a story by Karen Blixen {Isak Dinesan}.  A Danish production filmed in the Czech Republic. I shut it down with 49 minutes left and I'll finish it tonight. 

1215pm: PC is 'Off' and will try to get in Five Miles on the treadmill. 

***Strong winds gusts to 50 mph & i put off the treadmill till they died down.

140pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; JORDAN JENSON on 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'.

***When on the treadmill the power went off just as I finished 45" & then off for a few minutes at 3pm. It 'cured the red light on the router.

Finished 'EHRENGARD: The Art Of Seduction' (Netflix). A clever story that feels almost like a fable, but apparently has some basis in Danish history.  

I was going to begin 'FAMILIES LIKE OURS' (Netflix), but at the last second I decided to dive into a new Reality Show, so I began 'YOLANTHE: This Is My Story' (Netflix). A rich & famous woman from the Netherlands makes a home in Beverly Hills. She's part of a family of thirteen siblings; one dad and four different mothers. In the 90's he was 'The King of Ibiza'.  

***I watched a seven minute YouTube video about the tornado that touched down west of Jacksonville late this morning. That also was a bad storm on Westview and it was two events. One storm about 1pm and then when it passed there were really storm wind gusts that were at least fifty mph.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
