 Up 620am: Cloudy with the threat of storms this afternoon and a 'Heat Advisory' till 7pm. Now I must hit 'preview' to see an entry and I can't edit a published entry. Why did this change? 

 Watched 'THE BEAST' (Kanopy). I think I've seen this before, but it's an Art Film that is very complicated. It could be about a woman undergoing a futuristic psychiatric treatment for 'past lives adjustment'. In the early 20th century she drowned with her lover and in the present he (in a different incarnation) comes back to murder her. This was her fear (the 'Beast') and it was poisoning all of her lives. I have a link for a YouTube explanation and I'll watch it later. [A bit more involved, but I hit the high points].

The situations are silly and absurd, but the wonderful ensemble cast makes it work.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
