Watched 'THE 355' (Netflix). Twelve minutes before the end of the film the meaning of '355' was revealed and I was in the process of Googling to find the answer. From AI Overview: "In the movie The 355, the number '355' is the code name of a legendary female spy from the American Revolutionary War. Her identity was never discovered, and she became a symbol for modern female operatives."  Premise: A harddrive contains software that can hack into any computer system on the planet and no operating system (power grids, banking records, weapons systems, medical histories) is safe. All the world's intelligence agencies try to get it and the agents on the frontline are all women. The film is a heavy handed polemic for Female Empowerment and the aim seems to be to allow impressionable young women to watch the film and experience the role of 'super agents' instead of just teachers, nurses, or housewives. I guess that's the intent; with Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, Bingbing Fan, Diane Kruger, Lupita Nyong'o."40" Metascore and I would go to "68". 

Watched 'THE SAND CASTLE' (Netflix). It's a thoughtful Art Film (imaginative & unconventional content) about a couple and their two children who flee Turkey to get asylum in Greece and they are left on a tiny island. The film is seen through the eyes of the young daughter. A slightly confusing film that requires a sentence before the closing credits brings the theme into focus; "This film is dedicated to all the children who are forced to live in their own imagination in order to survive." From AI Overview: The movie "was filmed in the Palm Islands Nature Reserve in northern Lebanon, specifically on the island known as the 'Island of Rabbits'. This protected area is home to endangered turtles, monk seals, and migratory birds". I'd only give this one a weak 'C-minus'.

Deliberating the 'pros & cons' of going to a monthly plan at 'DIET SMOKE' for 200 mg Bold Acapulco Gold gummies and listening to the classical station from UIS.

More 'THE GARDENER' (Netflix). The story is set in Pontevedra, Spain, on the western coast near the border with Portugal. I shut it down 35 minutes into episode #3. I'm only understanding about 85% of this because it's a little hard to believe that there could be that many missing persons in such a small area. If that were the case, wouldn't the community be up in arms?

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
