I Watered the front flowers. The lawn is very dry and there is no rain on the horizon. 

Watched 'THE SILENT FOREST' (Hoopla). A young woman is an apprentice agronomist and is taking soil samples in the forest where her father disappeared twenty years previously. THE REVEAL: During the final days of WWII uncounted numbers of Jewish prisoners died as they were forced to march through Bavaria heading east. Local citizens helped cover up the dead bodies. The girl's father found out about this and was murdered. The film is set in 'Oberpfalz' which is The Upper Palatinate, an administrative district in the east of Bavaria, Germany. It's on the border with Czechia and just west of the city of Nuremberg, Germany. WEIRD PREMISE: One of the characters was trying to develop a Hansel & Gretal theme park in the same area where hundreds of dead Jews were hastily buried. Of course, if this information was made public, no one would want to visit the park. 

Watched 'THE STRANGER IN OUR BED' (Amazon Prime). A young British woman is married to a very rich & controlling husband. She wants out, but he wants a fresh start. The Reveal is that he paid a man to seduce his wife, and she fell for the new guy. Hubby kills him (final scene: he didn't die) and then tries to kill her. It was a pretty tame mystery thriller and barely worth a look.

Watched a 30" YouTube video about an Arkansas man who walked into his house to find his step son having sex with his wife. The police were called. 'White Trash' at their least finest, yet compelling nonetheless.

More 'RIVERS OF FATE' (Netflix). The story is set on the northeastern coast of Brazil near French Guiana. I shut it down 18 minutes into episode #3.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
