Watched 'MY KING' (Amazon Prime). An intense French drama about a couple's affair, from a super- sexy tumble of 'true love' into a very one sided and dreary married relationship. The guy comes off as a textbook narcissist. Essentially, he wants his own life and to keep her on the side like a mistress. She goes along with it, and she doesn't see him for who he really is until the final scene {It's like having a relationship based on the fable concerning the scorpion, the frog, and the river}; with Vincent Cassel, Emmanuelle Bercot. "68" Metascore and I would go to "88".  

10am: I got a prompt about 'Acrobat Reader' and I should restart, but not now...feeling too fine.  {It only took a few moments, but is it finished?}

Watched 'TRUE THINGS' (Amazon Prime). Another film about the horrors of being in a relationship with a self-absorbed yet sexy guy; with Ruth Wilson, Tom Burke. Filmed in Broadstairs, UK which is in east Kent, England on the extreme southeast coast. "68" Metascore and I would boost that to "79'.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
