***When I turned on the upstairs PC it would not connect. After I entered my 'password' it went directly to a black screen. I started the downstairs PC with no problem and when I got back upstairs I was able to get online. I did a 'restart' and things seem OK. Could it be connected to the Adobe Acrobat Reader that I think I installed? Not knowing why is the biggest reason for high anxiety. 

Watched 'BARBARA' (Amazon Prime). It's a complex and compelling psychological drama about a female doctor in East Germany who has been cast out of Berlin and now must work at a rural hospital. Her boyfriend is arranging her escape to the west, but the film concerns her growing relationship with a doctor at the country clinic; with a terrific performance by Nina Hoss. Filmed in Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany which is about 50 miles west of Berlin. "86" Metascore and I would go to "93". 

Finished 'THE ECHOES OF SURVIVORS: Inside Korea's Tragedies' (Amazon Prime).  The support columns were supposed to be 80 cm in diameter and they were only 60 cm. Contractors were to use 16 rebars per column and they only had 8. The top floor was originally zoned as a roller rink. They changed the roller rink idea to a restaurant and failed to account for the additional weight. Before the final credits: "Over the past 45 years, 58 such tragedies have occurred in Korea". 

1140am: As I was logging off I noticed that I needed to 'restart' because of the Adobe Reader. I hope it isn't a big deal. It took just a few moments, but there was hesitation (balls slowly circling) after I entered my password and it finally connected. The prompt for Adobe Reader to 'restart' was gone, so I guess 'all systems go'. I did a Defender 'quick scan' and nothing was found. 

1145am: I closed the windows and the AC is back. 

1150am: Preparing for a walk to Washington Park- It's been a minute.

1240pm- 210pm: To Washington Park...Parkview, Wash.Pk southside, Wiggins, Ash, Lincoln, Leland, Douglas, Wash.Pk southside, MacArthur, Wash.Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 30 MINUTES;  ROLLING STONES- 'Exile On Main Street'.

Mushrooms & weed arrived. The mailman was walking up the drive when I got back from the run and he handed it to me. 

Beautiful & mellow high; half a 125 mg & an hour plus walk creates a memorable day. Exile sounded perfect...Mick Taylor & the other Mick.

Reading & watched a 50" YouTube video- 'American Nazi Town'- All about The German American Bund during the 1930's; Fritz Kuhn. 

440pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; SANTINO and female 2nd banana. 

540pm: In the tub with 'MISTAKEN IDENTITY' and listening to DON CHERRY Playlist; EAGLES OF DEATH METAL Playlist; ELVIS COSTELLO Early Playlist. 

Finished ANDREW SANTINO on Jessie 'Jetski' Johnson first podcast.

More 'DEUTCSHLAND 83' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down 16 minutes into episode #6. It's still compelling.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
