Watched 'ROAD HOUSE' (Amazon Prime). An outrageously implausible 'male fantasy' film set in a dream world honky tonk in the Florida Keys... "A hero hits town, annihilates the bad guys, and 'Greyhounds' into the sunset". The premise was ridiculous, but there were some clever lines and the overall tone was semi-serious; Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchoir, Conor McGregor, Billy Magnussen, Jessica Williams, Joaquim de Almeida, Post Malone. "57" Metascore and I would easily boost it to "81".  

Watched 'STALIN'S EXECUTIONERS: The Katyn Massacre' (Amazon Prime- 45"). In about four months after the beginning of WWII 22,000 Polish military officers, police and civilians were executed in secret rural locations in Poland and western Russia. Just over 40 agents of the Soviet secret police accomplished the task in about four months and received an extra month's pay. The Soviets didn't admit guilt until 1990.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
