Finished 'INSIDE FURIOZA' (Netflix). The title translates as 'furious, ferocious, raging' and fits perfectly with the tone and temper of the film. Some great local color in Dublin, Ireland and Gdansk, Poland and the ambiguous ending leaves open the possibility of more 'FURIOZA'.   

Finished 'PLAY DIRTY' (Amazon Prime). In this one the violence was not meant to be believed. It was all played for laughs (it was a droll and somewhat witty film) and the violence was only 'cartoonish' at best; with Mark Wahlberg, LaKeith Stanfield, Rosa Salazar, Keegan-Michael Key, Gretchen Mol, Tony Shalhoub. "46" Metascore and I would go to "76".

PASTE MAGAZINE; "{The Director Shane Black}..."hands us a frenzied combination of action, comedy and criminal caper, patently absurd but well served by knowingly silly performances and solid jokes."

More 'THE MONSTER OF FLORENCE' (Netflix). I finished episode #3 and the final episode (67") I will finish tonight. There are  so many suspects that it seems they will never find the true perpetrator. 

1140am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to visit Esporta and then head to Binny's for a 30 pk and Cookies Georgia Pie.

At Binny's I was looking for COOKIES GEORGIA PIE 10 MG for $17.99, but I got ARYLOOM CRAN APPLE 10 MG for even cheaper. 

***When I opened the PC I noticed that I needed a restart. At 815pm I noticed another prompt for restart. The second attempt took several minutes and I hope that now I'm up to date.

Finished 'THE MONSTER OF FLORENCE' (Netflix). The final episode was unbelievably violent. The married couple was one of the more twisted relationships that I've ever seen or read about. Their new roommate has sex with the husband and then arranges a three way that ends with the woman getting pregnant. The moment he learns of the pregnancy, he abandons the couple. In the final scene another suspect is introduced. I'm only certain that I didn't have anything to do with the murders. The series was a little confusing (far too many suspects), but successfully causes feelings of moral depravity.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
