Watched 'WHAT REMAINS' (Amazon Prime). Based on the most famous serial killer in Nordic history. Very slow moving and intentionally deep. The mood is dark and unrelenting and a moving experience for the viewer, but it is somewhat confusing. I guess the alleged serial killer didn't do any of this because he withdrew all of his confessions; with Andrea Riseborough, Stellan Skarsgard. A slow burn, but didn't have much of a payoff.  

Finished 'TOUCH' (Amazon Prime). The reason that the Japanese family left London was because the father believed that his daughter's DNA was compromised because she was exposed to the radiation at Hiroshima. He took her to be sterilized but she was pregnant with Kris's child. Fifty years later 'the old Kris' finds Miko who is recovering from COVID and learns that he has a son. His son is a chef and has two grown daughters.  Miko & Kris visit the young chef's restaurant and meet him, but they don't reveal who they really are. Miko & Kris leave the restaurant and walk together on an evening stroll. Cloying & romantic, yet touching.

***215pm- 250pm:  To CVS; When I gave my name and birthdate I learned that I was off their books. I canceled after 430pm yesterday & my account was already at Walgreens. There were eight people ahead of me in line at CVS. I drove to Walgreens & waited about 15 minutes while they filled the order. I still don't know who to get mad at.

Began 'THE MONSTER OF FLORENCE' (Netflix). I watched the first episode and this is another high quality production. I'm all in.  Set near Borgo San Lorenzo, which is about 20 miles northeast of Florence, Italy. It's The Tuscany region of central Italy.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
