Watched 'HOMEBOUND' (Netflix). Two young Indian men take the test to become police constables so that they move up in the caste system and 'no one will look down on them again'. There are over 700 applicants for each position. Part of the film was about how the COVID Lockdowns affected the poorest of the poor. Since the factories and retail stores in the cities were shut down most workers attempted to return to their villages yet the police were using physical force to make that people 'sheltered in place'.  This produced chaos. This was an interesting film about the deep rooted nature of the Indian Caste System and also how the authorities handled certain aspects of the COVID epidemic.
