Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'BLACK TIDE' (Amazon Prime). A very grim and gritty French Police Procedural about a missing teenage boy and his relationship with a neighborhood teacher. The Reveal:  Dad killed his son and said that it was because the boy was sexually abusing his mentally challenged sister. Mom says that Dad's the abuser and her son was only defending his sister. Vincent Cassel was great as the boozy 'Commander' (the cop's new designation for 'Inspector'). 

Watched an episode of 'HARDCORE CHRONICLES' (Amazon Prime: 25"). Interviews- 'Agnostic Front', 'Blood Clot'; then a sixteen minute video biography of 'FOGHAT'- They were a kind of upgrade to 'SAVOY BROWN'. Three guys from that band formed 'FOGHAT'. They toured 365 days a year, but New Wave killed them. Dave Edmunds produced their first album.

1125am: The PC is 'Off' and will have the omelet and read. I think I'll hit the park later as it's now a sunny day.

More 'BIOHACKERS' (Netflix). I saved the final episode for tomorrow morning and I watched a YouTube video about a guy who was a roadie on a Christian Gospel tour. He quit and he explains why he did.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
