Up 615am: A foggy morning, then mostly cloudy with temps to upper 50's & unseasonably warm for Christmas day. {When I left Jamie's house around 7pm the fog was back...'Werewolves of London'.

Watched 'THE HUNGER' (Tubi). It's loosely based on the novel, but it might even make more sense. The director, Tony Scott created a very 80's Art Film and I liked it a lot; with Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie, Susan Sarandon, Cliff De Young, Willem Dafoe (he spoke a couple of words and maybe ten seconds of screen time. Blink and you miss him). "52" Metascore and I would go to 84". VARIETY: "The Hunger [from the novel by Whitley Strieber] is all visual and aural flash, although this modern vampire story looks so great, as do its three principal performers, and is so bizarre that it possesses a certain perverse appeal." TIME OUT: The review mentioned that you should read the book before seeing the film, but I'm not so sure which one made more sense.    

10am: The PC is 'Off' and will get 5 miles on the treadmill.

1010am MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  a '48 HOURS' (Amazon Prime)- A Google executive gets a fatal injection of heroin from a call girl. He asked for it, but she is kinda responsible.  She got what amounted to 2 years for manslaughter;  watched a 'LAST WEEK TONIGHT'- Downfall of Venezuela.

240pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT (no weed);  more THEO VON on J.R.E. 

425pm- 7pm: Jon & Whitney & Jonas & Hank & Jennifer (Bonnie's daughter and Joe's sister) and her boyfriend. The Magic Set that I got for Bo was a real hit. The most innovative gift was the drone (there might have been two of them) that Joe & Janny got for Jamie's kids. They had them charged and flying within a half hour. Melissa provided all kinds of food on the kitchen counters (and a salad) and we just fed ourselves. This will be the last time I will be in their house on Glenwood. They begin moving to their new home near Petersburg in just a few days. 

In the living room to use the gas fireplace. It began to kick off & on after about 30 minutes. Fuck it. Watched a couple of YouTube Car videos. How to interpret the automobile warning lights and hidden tips that few car owners are aware of.

More of 'SCANDAL EVE' (Netflix). I shut it down 6 minutes into episode #4. The scandal of the 'drink with a nineteen year old & underage female' was only a false scandal to cover up the bigger one involving another star that was favored by the female CEO of an entertainment group.  One of the payoffs was for $3,000,000 Japanese yen which is about $19,200.00 usd. 

935pm: Shutting down the living room PC. Tired tonight and ready for some hot cabbage & noodle soup.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
