Up 530am: Cloudy with temps to mid 30's. The next few days will be very cold with temps in single digits and a snowstorm headed toward Springfield this weekend. 

Yesterday I got an email from Republic saying 'they would be two hours late'. They never showed and it looks like they didn't hit any of the homes on Westview. Hopefully they'll be by today. {They did. In mid afternoon a guy in a different garbage truck where he had to get out and hook the big blue can at the back of his truck at each home}.

Watched 'MOJAVE' (Netflix). A famous California artist visits the Mojave desert to sort out his troubled life. From out of the darkness a homicidal drifter appears at his campsite. This incident is treated like Jesus meeting the devil in the bible. Later, a cop is killed in a kind of accident and who did the deed is never an issue. It's all about who could invent a more plausible explanation to implicate the other guy. Then the film descends into a running dialogue between two guys being pretentious and slick; with Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hedlund, Mark Wahlberg (his scenes seemed to be part of another film entirely). "41" Metascore and I would go only to "69". 

830am: The PC is 'Off' and I want to put in some time on the treadmill to burn off some stress and anxiety about the visit to 900 N. 1st. FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT.   

***1225pm- 210pm: 900 1st; 4th floor...I quickly got through the front desk inquisition, but I had to wait in the cubicle for about a half hour. He came in and was talking about the storm coming this weekend. I didn't realize that it was that big a deal, but the nurses were talking that school would be cancelled tomorrow because of the cold. I had a condition involving bone marrow and 9 is bad, I am 12, and 14 is top of the chart. If it gets under 9 I would have to get painful shots every two weeks for the rest of my life. That's what he said, but that ain't gonna happen. Dr. Martinek will take it from here and I will (might) see him in two years. At the front desk they told me they don't schedule that far into the future.   

County Market: $27- 12 pack Natural Light, apples, orange soda...I wanted to get a 30pk of Natural Light, but there wasn't a single cart in the store. It was because everyone was in the store to get supplies before the cold and storms hit. Way below zero temps for the next couple of days and several inches of snow predicted for this weekend. 

340pm: 3 MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; audiobook 'MONEY LIES AND GOD'.  {I walked a total of 8 miles total for the day}

More 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'; just Mark & Sam.

More 'CAPTAIN ROJAS' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down 38 minutes into episode #5. The urban locations are bleak and foreboding. In the same area you find a desert, a slum, then high-rises and oceanfront hotels. I checked the weather for that area of northern Chile and southern Peru and the temps are in the upper 70's today. Their winter weather occurs in our summer.
