 We 1/21/26

630am {1/2 VIIA 100 mg 'Day Drift' (green): 50 mg total}. 630am (GB: 6 rips/ Penny Lane Sativa). 710am (4 hits-B: Sour Diesel). 915am (GB: 5 rips/ Sour Diesel). 1255pm (GB: 6 rips/ Sour Diesel). 535pm (GB: 6 rips/  Sour Diesel). 825(GB: 5 rips/ Penny Lane Sativa).

Up 530am: Partly sunny & breezy with temps to about 40.

Watched 'DICIANNOVE' (Kanopy). The title of the movie is the Italian word for '19' and that's the age of the protagonist. The film is a random collection of memorable and not so memorable events in the nineteenth year of life of a bright, naive and questioning college student. It's not an easy film, but hauntingly manages to portray this particular year as a volatile mix of profound naivety about life in general yet an ever present belief that the foremost answers to life's questions can be found in Italian literature (pre 20th century).  The kid is positively enthralled by the 13th century writer, poet & philosopher, Dante Alighieri. Set and shot in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, and Siena, Italy which is in the northern part of the country just south of Florence. {Some early scenes are in London}. "69" Metascore and I would go to "82".

Finished 'THE GODFATHER: CODA, THE DEATH OF MICHAEL CORLEONE' (Hoopla). Crazy Plotlines: The mob loans the Vatican hundreds of millions and this transaction legitimizes the mafia's many questionable business enterprises; A young mob boss is in love with his first cousin; A pope is murdered and then Corleone and his daughter are shot and she is killed. It's like right out of an Italian opera. It's well worth a look, but mostly because you can appreciate how much effort went into the production. "60" Metascore and I would go to "78".

More of 'SPY OPS' (Netflix). Finished 'Operation Pimlico'- The plan to get a western spy out of Moscow and began 'The Plot To Kill the Pope'.

1230pm:  The PC is 'Off' and it's sunny and relatively calm, so I'll hit the sidewalks and do a long walk today.

110pm- 310pm: To Washington Park...Parkview, Wash.Pk southside, Wiggins, Outer Park, Lincoln, Leland, across by Dollar General, Walnut, Wash.Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...TWO HOURS; LOUNGE LIZARDS Playlist; began audiobook 'MONEY LIES AND GOD by KATHERINE STEWART.

Finished reading 'STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND'. The kind of book that I've read a few times since it was published in 1961. Many good ideas and some not so good. It must have blown minds in '61

540pm: In the tub to begin 'THE 6:20 MAN by DAVID BALDACCI and listening to LONG RYDERS- 'Native Son'; LOS LOBOS- 'Kiko'; LOU REED- 'New York.

Watched a 14" YouTube video about how Keith & Donna left the Grateful Dead.

More 'INSPECTOR ROJAS' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down 25 minutes into episode #4. The series works because the girls look very believable as  hot & tacky jailbait.
