Watched '3 FACES' (Hoopla). Strangest yet... 1) A few teenage Iranian girls from a very isolated mountain village fake an on-camera suicide because the villagers feel that their dreams of freedom were 'empty-headed'; 2) An old & ignorant man believes that if he buries the foreskin of his adult son on the campus of a university his boy will become a doctor or an engineer. The film's disturbing message is the fact that there are people living in contemporary times that believe and think like people from the Bronze Age. "78" Metascore and I would raise it slightly to "83". 

Watched 'HIPPOPOTAMUS' (Amazon Prime). Another head-scratcher. A man kidnaps a woman and keeps her in a locked basement room with only a sink, toilet, table, & mattress. Her legs have been disabled so that she can't escape, but the surprise is that the kidnapper is actually her boyfriend. One night after a romantic date she was raped by a roommate and suffered traumatic memory loss. The boyfriend blames himself for 'not being there' and kills the rapist. He has devoted his life to getting her to remember their life together by keeping her in a locked room. Why couldn't he just tell her what happened? They must have had mutual friends who would remember their relationship. This is an interesting premise, but I didn't get the reasoning behind the action.

Watched a 'BREAKING POINTS'- More on Epstein Files.

Began 'IN THE MUD' (Netflix). A very gritty look at life inside an Argentine women's prison and the writers have obviously seen several episodes of 'ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK'. I shut it down 19 minutes into the second episode and I'll probably be back for more. Filmed in Buenos, Aires, Argentina.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'.
