535pm (GB: 5/ Frozen Lemonade). {Another 'T' Break?}

Alarm 7am: Partly cloudy & breezy with a 40% chance of snow showers and temps to upper 40's. Nearly fifty degrees cooler than yesterday. 

Watched 'BERNADETTE LAFONT, AND GOD CREATED THE FREE WOMAN (Hoopla). A fluff piece on a famous actress of '60's New Wave'. It was only an hour and not that interesting because I was completely unfamiliar with any of her films. 

***It's almost 10am and no word from Perfect Choice. I was put on hold for over 5 minutes and when I called back they said that the installer would be on Westview within the hour. It's 1210pm and still no call and no installer. At 1215pm I got a call from the installer and he said he would be here in about a half hour. He was surprised that I was replacing the floor tile and didn't seem to know about the new light with the vent. I've got a bad feeling about all of this. 

And, I got a prompt for a 'restart'....Just what I needed.  

Watched 'ARE WE GOOD?' (Kanopy).  A fairly standard profile of comedian Marc Maron, but I saw that he has the cutest 'ordinary' cats and now I fully understand why he's always talking about them. The day before his girlfriend, Lynn Shelton was to visit the doctor for a routine checkup, she collapsed and he had to call an ambulance. They discover that she has a strange blood disease and she's died within eighteen months. 

***The guy finally arrived about 130pm and he disclosed that he was finishing another job. I thought that I was #1 on his schedule. We discussed what was needed for my remodel and headed to Menards to pick up what I had selected. We walked around the store and reviewed everything that I bought. The tile I picked out was not suitable because it was expensive and required 12 to 24 hours to set. I chose 'interlocking' tiles that even look better than the original ones. It was kind of enjoyable. He seems like a nice guy and strolling around Menards was not nearly as dire doing it solo. He works weekends while his wife studies to become an RN and he also watches the four kids. Got home about 330p,. We decided that he would come back tomorrow at 8am and he'd work all Saturday and into the night. 

***When I checked the mail I received the vehicle sticker that I bought online on Tuesday afternoon.   

When he checked the shut off valve under the bathroom sink, the fixture snapped off. The sink is shut off but the toilet and bathtub work. 

When he left at 430pm I drove to the Ace on Walnut and bought 2 shutoffs for sixteen a piece. I needed two for the sink (hot & cold) and one for the toilet. A young black, female clerk was very helpful. 

540pm: In the tub with 'PRENTICE ALVIN' and listening to ALICE COLTRANE Playlist; ALPHA BAND- '1st album'.

Watched 'HOMICIDE: NEW YORK' (Netflix). 'Vanished On Wall Street'.  A security guard at 2 Rector St., NYC kills one of the cleaning women and stuffs her in an air conditioning vent in an unfinished area of the building.  

I shut everything down at 845pm so that I can get to bed early tonight. I have set the alarm for 545am and the installer should be here at 8am.
