You never see the actual horror, yet you always know it's 'on the other side of the fence'. 

An episode of  'HOMICIDE' (Netflix). Carnegie Deli Murders- Two guys rob a high end marijuana dealer and kill five witnesses who were bound and gagged. A truly senseless crime. 

An episode of 'MURDER BOOK' (Amazon Prime). The entire city of Highland Park, Michigan is bankrupt and most of the files are lost. However, they were able to clear one murder that had gone unsolved for over thirty years. 

1215pm: I had hoped to hit Planet Fitness, but I still feel too lousy, so it's a walk on the treadmill.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home.
