Up 545am: {To the alarm} Partly cloudy & breezy with temps to mid 60's. 

Constipation is no longer an issue and I really haven't eaten enough in the last couple of days but I feel OK, just very drained.  Since yesterday I've been pissing in an empty gallon laundry soap container.  Works great. And, I'm really glad that Tyler recommended the American Standard toilet. It's ten times better than the old Toto model. 

This morning I had three cups of coffee and didn't even turn on the living room computer. I was reading the Orson Scott Card novel, 'PRENTICE ALVIN'. I'm hooked on the story and will buy more of this series. It's a semi-fictional & slightly mystical profile of colonial America 'that might have been'. 

The installer called 740am and told me that he would stop at Lowe's for a faucet for the tub which 'Perfect Choice' had forgotten to give him and he got to Westview about 830am. 

I was downstairs by 9am, entered yesterday's notes into the blog, and watched 'THE THINGS YOU KILL' (Hoopla).  An unsuccessful Turkish college teacher of language translation suspects that his father has killed his ailing mother. He and a man that he had recently hired as a gardener kill the father in a violent act of revenge. This is where it gets weird because the gardener 'becomes' the professor. It's a jarring twist because the actors actually change places. It's quite confusing and I really didn't get it. It helped to see a couple of YouTube videos. ' The protagonist loses not just his life but his identity'.  This is the kind of film that resonates because you don't know what's real and what isn't. THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: "The drama does eventually come full circle, but it’s gone so far off the rails by that point that it’s hard to bring us back."  "81" Metascore and I would leave it at that.  The film was shot and set near Ankara, Turkey. The professor and the drifter negotiate a gardening wage of $3,500 Turkish lira and that equals about $79.00 usd.

At noon I fixed rice and began 'ANGEL HEADED HIPSTER' (Kanopy).  It's a profile of 'the glam rock powerhouse' via other artists doing his songs. I shut it down at 18 minutes and I think I'll see if I can go for a walk of an hour and a half to an hour and forty five minutes. 

1250pm- 230pm: Washington Park...Parkview, Wash. Pk. southside, Wiggins, Ash, Lincoln, Leland, across at Dollar General, Walnut, Wash. Pk. northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 40 MINUTES; audiobook 'RAGE AND THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION'.

Finished 'ANGEL HEADED HIPSTER' (Kanopy).  It's a well made tribute to Marc Bolan and well worth a look. 

The  installer informed me that the grout lines of the new shower panel will not exactly match the old tile. In order to do it perfectly, I'd have to replace the entire room with new panels. No, I'll learn to live with it and appreciate the fact that the room looks 100% better. He assures me that tonight he will be finished and he is on schedule.   

More 'RADIOACTIVE EMERGENCY' (Netflix). The capsule contained Cesium- 137 and spread in the city of Goiania, Brazil. I shut it down 13 minutes into episode #3 and I'll do two more miles on the treadmill. 

520pm:   TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of MARK NORMAND on 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?'.

I selected where I want the 3 shower shelves & the grab bar. He's still shooting for nine-ish as completion time, but I'm not so sure. The cleanup alone will take a long time, but I'm sure he won't even suggest driving another hundred miles back & forth to continue tomorrow.

About 1030pm he finished the job & it looks amazing. His name was Adrian and I can't believe I didn't remember it [Twang Bar King!]. I signed off on the work and the check was for $11,125, I made a down payment of $6,000 & the grand total was $17,125. 

He cleared all his stuff out of the house by 11pm and cleared the lawn & garage by midnight. I swept the garage and moved the car off the street.

1220am: Adrian called to say he forgot to close the garage door & I told him I got it.

1225am: I'm in bed & too keyed up to sleep. I fixed a bowl of tomato soup with onions & cabbage. Reading more of 'PRENTICE ALVIN'.
